At-home STI tests available at no cost!
С»ÆÑ¼ÊÓÆµ County Public Health is now offering free, at-home STD test kits to the public, making it more convenient than ever for individuals to take charge of their health. Residents can pick up a test kit at the pharmacy inside the С»ÆÑ¼ÊÓÆµ County Public Health Center or at one of our regional centers. No appointment is necessary, ensuring a simple and accessible way to get tested.
Using the test kit is easy:
- Take the test kit home.
- Collect a blood and urine sample.
- Mail the sample using the pre-paid packaging.
- Receive test results within 2-5 days.
If someone tests positive, С»ÆÑ¼ÊÓÆµ County Public Health can assist with treatment and connect them to the care they need.

The HIV/STD Program provides prevention education and testing services throughout С»ÆÑ¼ÊÓÆµ County.
HIV, Hepatitis C, and STD testing are available at the С»ÆÑ¼ÊÓÆµ County Public Health Building (10 Sunnybrook Road, Raleigh, NC 27610).
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (8 a.m.–5 p.m.) Tuesday (9 a.m.–5 p.m.)

HIV/STD Evening Clinic (Clinic E)

- Free and Confidential testing for (HIV, Syphilis, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea and Hepatitis C)
- No Appointment Needed!
- Every Tuesday and Thursday (5:30–7:30 p.m.); follow-up test results are given on-site between 7:30–8 p.m.
