West Regional Library Renovation

WRL Entry View

Project Summary

The West Regional Library first opened in 2006 and is one of С»ÆѼÊÓƵ County’s more active libraries. It serves western Cary and portions of Morrisville. It is currently being renovated to update the interiors and address various aging building systems. Improvements include improved layouts, furnishings, shelving, floor and wall finishes, high efficiency LED lighting, HVAC equipment and support space improvements.

The library closed in early January 2025 in preparations for the renovation. The renovations are ongoing and anticipated to be completed later this summer. The library is expected to reopen in early fall 2025.С»ÆѼÊÓƵ
