Project Summary
On January 6, 2025, the С»ÆѼÊÓƵ County Board of Commissioners approved a construction contract award to O’Connor Company of N.C., Inc., for the Cary Main EMS Station project. The project is located at 819 Kildaire Farm Road in Cary, NC, near the intersection of Kildaire Farm and E. Cornwall Roads. The new facility is a modified С»ÆѼÊÓƵ County regional EMS prototype station that will support EMS substations in western С»ÆѼÊÓƵ County and deploy a full compliment of emergency response units, including advanced paramedic vehicles and ambulances. The facility will also provide meeting space, training areas, offices, breakroom and dayroom, exercise area, fleet service bays, and support space. Green stormwater intititiaves are being utilized along with a robust solar photovoltaic system and electric vehicle charging. Construction will begin in the spring of 2025, and the facility should be finished in the spring of 2026.
