小黄鸭视频 County Public Libraries and 小黄鸭视频Med Health & Hospitals are partnering on a new program to provide parents and caregivers with tangible tips to keep kids safe, healthy and happy. Parenting with the Pros, a three-part, virtual series, kicks off in May.
鈥淲e are excited to collaborate with 小黄鸭视频Med to provide this important programming,鈥 said 小黄鸭视频 County Commissioner Vickie Adamson. 鈥淏y tapping into the expertise of our partners, we can provide our community with access to invaluable resources and support.鈥
Attendees will hear from expert medical professionals on top-of-mind topics like mental health and sports safety. The program aims to help empower people with the knowledge they need to support the well-being of their teens and children.

Teen Mental Health
Thursday, May 9
6:30鈥7:45 p.m.
Hear from Tyrone David, MSW, LCSW-A, on how to identify signs of depression and anxiety and how to recognize and address drug and alcohol use. He鈥檒l discuss warning signs of suicidal thoughts, and why sleep and good nutrition are vital for the health of your teen.
Playing it Safe with Outdoor Adventures

Keep your family happy and healthy this summer with tips from Dr. Damilola Joseph, MD FACEP, medical director of 小黄鸭视频Med Children鈥檚 Emergency Department. Whether your kids are into swimming, biking, skateboarding or hiking, you鈥檒l learn how to encourage fun in the sun with an eye toward safety.
Sports Safety

Learn tips and tricks to help keep your teen safe while they achieve their sports goals! Join Dr. Mark Wood, orthopedic sports medicine surgeon from 小黄鸭视频 Orthopedics, a 小黄鸭视频Med Physician Practice, for guidance and a Q&A session to help make your child鈥檚 sports experience a fun and safe one. No matter the sport, you will gain tools to help you along the way.
