Residential

New One- & Two-Family Dwellings

Residential Permit Fee $75 plus $0.25 per square foot of gross floor area.

Residential Permit fee includes all trades and temporary electrical construction pole, if needed.

Gross floor area finished within the inside perimeter of the exterior walls with no deduction for garage, corridors, stairs, closets or other features. Finished area is that portion of building served by either electrical, mechanical or plumbing systems and suitable for occupant's use.

Manufactured, Modular and Houses Moved

Residential Permit Fee $75

Residential Permit fee includes all trades required and temporary electrical construction pole, if needed.

Residential Additions, Alterations, Accessory Building & Structures

Residential Permit Fee $75 plus $0.25 per square foot of gross floor area.

Residential Permit fee includes all trades and temporary electrical construction pole, if needed.

Alteration of Existing Footage: Total gross floor area within the inside perimeter of the exterior walls of the area that will be altered or remodeled.

This fee includes permits for additions, alterations, repairs, sheds, attached/detached garages, retaining walls, porches, decks, solar panels, closed crawlspaces, etc.

Residential Swimming Pools, Hot Tubs & Spas

Above-Ground swimming pools hot tubs & spas – Residential Permit Fee $75

In-Ground swimming pools – Residential Permit Fee $300

Residential Permit fee includes all trades and 2 electrical grounding inspections.

Residential Demolition

Residential Demolition â€“ Residential Permit fee $75

Residential Permit fee includes all trades and temporary electrical construction pole, if needed.

Residential Trade Permit Fee

Residential Trade Permit Fee – $75

The $75 permit fee is a single permit fee for electrical, mechanical and plumbing, regardless of number of trades involved. Electrical pole fee is included in the $75 trade fee.

Commercial trade permit fees are calculated per project cost for EACH required trade. Please see the Commercial Development Fee schedule below.

Non-Residential

Temporary Construction Electrical Pole

Temporary construction electrical poles are included with your building permit, if needed.

Re-inspection Fee

Re-Inspection Fee
A fee is charged for each additional trip required to pass a previously failed inspection. This fee must be paid before the re-inspection can be scheduled. 
Fees apply to each inspection type and increase with each re-inspection, up to the fourth. After that, the highest fee applies. The fee schedule is as follows:

  • 1st re-inspection: $100
  • 2nd re-inspection: $200
  • 3rd re-inspection: $300 
  • ≥ 4th re-inspection: $400

 

Max Violations Re-Inspection Fee
A $150 fee applies when 15 or more inspection items are found to be noncompliant during a second or subsequent re-inspection. Each noncompliant item counts as one violation.

Amend Permit & Revised Site Plan Fee

$60

Permits should be amended when the scope of the project will change, new plans are submitted or revised, a revised site plan is submitted, or the number of bedrooms for a project has changed.

Homeowner Recovery Fee

$10

Homeowner Recovery Fee is required when a Licensed General Contractor applies for a permit to construct or alter a single-family dwelling.
