Visitors on the Autism Spectrum

We welcome families with children and adults on the autism spectrum. The following resources will help you plan for an enjoyable visit. 

Lake Crabtree County Park is a 215-acre site located beside the 520-acre Lake Crabtree, with lots of trails to explore, playgrounds, picnic areas and a historic homesite. We hope you enjoy your visit to Lake Crabtree and use these resources to help you plan for a fun day at the park.

Visitors of Different Physical Abilities

Lake Crabtree County Park is an ADA-accessible location. The parking lots and paved paths leading to shelters and restrooms meet ADA criteria. On-site an ADA boat launch provides easy access to the lake. Also, our fishing platform is wheelchair accessible.

Birdability

Birding is for everybody. That's why Lake Crabtree is proud to be a recognized location by Birdability, in collaboration with the National Audubon Society. Check out their website for more information at and see our site location .
