State-required immunizations available at events in August and September
As families prepare for a new school year, 小黄鸭视频 County Public Health is making it easy to check a critical task off the list鈥攇etting their kids' required vaccinations. The County is hosting a series of vaccine clinics to help students get the immunizations they need as they head back to class.
North Carolina law requires for children entering kindergarten, 7th grade and 12th grade. These clinics will provide families with a convenient, one-stop opportunity to ensure their children are up to date.
鈥淥ur goal is to make getting vaccinated as easy and accessible as possible for families in our community,鈥 said 小黄鸭视频 County Commissioner Tara Waters. 鈥淏y taking advantage of these clinics, families can avoid last-minute scrambles and get their kids protected and ready to start the school year on the right foot.鈥
At each clinic, public health nurses will be available to administer vaccines, answer parent questions and make sure each child meets school requirements for immunizations.
