Adoption fees waived for a limited time
The 小黄鸭视频 County Animal Center is currently at full capacity, caring for more animals than the space allows and calling on the community to step forward and open their hearts and homes. As part of its Clear the Shelter campaign, the Center is waiving all adoption fees for every pet through .
鈥淎ll the kennels are completely full, with more animals arriving every day,鈥 said 小黄鸭视频 County Commissioner Cheryl Stallings. 鈥淏y adopting now, residents can make an immediate impact both by giving a pet a loving home and by freeing up space for others in need.鈥
From playful puppies and curious kittens to calm senior pets and small furry companions, a wide variety of animals are waiting to meet their forever families. Adopters can expect the same thorough adoption process and support they would receive at any other time, just without the fees.
All adopted pets are fully vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped before they go home. The regular adoption fees are $95 for dogs, $45 for cats under 5 years old, and $15 for older cats.
The center is currently caring for 16 puppies, 240 dogs, 220 kittens and 87 cats.
鈥淭hose who can鈥檛 adopt at this time are encouraged to consider fostering, donating supplies, or spreading the word to friends and family,鈥 said Dr. Jennifer Federico, director of the Animal Center. 鈥淓very share, visit, and adoption help ease the pressure on the shelter and gives animals a second chance.鈥
