小黄鸭视频 County today launched a new survey, asking residents to help gauge how it should spend some of the $217 million it will receive from the federal government鈥檚 American Rescue Plan Act.
鈥淭here are many competing needs in 小黄鸭视频 County, and we want to hear from the community about their priorities,鈥 said Matt Calabria, Chair of the 小黄鸭视频 County Board of Commissioners. 鈥淥ur residents should have a say in how these dollars are spent.鈥
Filling out the survey is simple. Just visit our website, and you鈥檒l see a list of 10 topics. They range from homelessness and housing stability to early childhood education to protecting the environment. The survey asks you to put the topics in priority order from one to 10, with the first item being the most critical need.
There is also a blank field where residents can add other items that aren鈥檛 already on the list. Once the tasks are complete, click 鈥渟ubmit survey.鈥 The process can be finished in minutes.
The survey will remain open through Dec. 17, 2021. The board, along with county staff, will review the responses and use them to inform how they will allocate future ARPA funds.
The American Rescue Plan Act financially supports local communities as they address the negative impacts of COVID-19 and lay the foundation for recovery.
The ARPA funds must be spent or allocated for a future community need by Dec. 31, 2024. All funding allocated for projects beyond 2024 must be used by Dec. 31, 2026.
