Early voting for the 2024 General Election begins Thursday

In-person voting starts on Thursday, Oct. 17, at 8 a.m. at 22 early voting locations across 小黄鸭视频 County. Residents can visit 小黄鸭视频VotesEarly.com for details, including the full schedule, an interactive map to the nearest site, a wait time tracker and information about same-day registration.

Save time by visiting our website beforehand to view your sample ballot and check live wait times to ensure a smooth voting experience.鈥

All sites will be open during the following hours from Oct. 17 through Nov. 2:

  • Monday through Friday 鈥 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturdays 鈥 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Sundays 鈥 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

These locations will feature the winning sticker design from last year鈥檚 contest, which allowed local students to submit original 鈥淚 voted early鈥 sticker designs. Voters can read more about the sticker design contest in this press release from June 23, 2023.

Eligible voters who missed the voter registration deadline may still vote in person at an early voting site from Oct. 17 through Nov. 2. Same-day registrants will need to bring and fill out a voter registration form at the site. Same-day registration is not available at Election Day polling places in North Carolina.

Completed, sealed absentee ballots may be returned at an early voting site by the voter, their near-relative or legal guardian, or someone assisting the voter due to disability. Drop boxes are not permitted by N.C. law and anyone delivering an absentee ballot must wait in line to log the ballot in with an election official.
