Installment payments:
Payments may be made in installments of any amount or frequency, as long as the bill is paid in full before becoming delinquent. Prior approval from our office is not required to make installment payments on current bills. A statement reflecting the account balance will be sent after each payment.

Important: Always write the account number(s) you are wanting to pay in the memo section on your check. If making a prepayment, write the word prepayment in addition to the account number.
Pay Online by Checking Account Draft
С»ÆѼÊÓƵ County allows customers to pay with their using this free payment option. Select the account number(s) and enter the amount(s) you are trying to pay, and then provide your bank routing and checking account number. Your payment will post to your tax account immediately and С»ÆѼÊÓƵ County will draft this authorized one-time payment from your checking account within 2 business days. There is no charge for this service.
Please note that online checking account drafts may not be used when making a prepayment of taxes.
Pay Online by Credit Card, Debit Card or Digital Wallet
С»ÆѼÊÓƵ County Tax Administration has extended the payment options available to .
Credit and debit cards accepted include Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Digital wallets accepted include PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
A processing fee is charged by our payment provider for the secure handling of your online payment. This fee is not retained by С»ÆѼÊÓƵ County. The fee will be disclosed prior to payment authorization and is based on the payment method.
- Credit Card: 2.3% of the amount paid; minimum fee of $1.00
- Debit Card: Flat fee of $3.95
- Digital Wallet: 2.3% of the amount paid regardless of the bank account or card type used; minimum fee of $1.00
In Office: Credit and debit cards as well as digital wallets may only be used at our С»ÆѼÊÓƵ County Tax Administration office located inside the С»ÆѼÊÓƵ County Justice Center at 301 S. McDowell St., Ste 3800, Raleigh, NC 27601.

Pay with your Bank's Online Bill Pay
Pay a tax bill using your financial institution’s bill pay service.
To allow for processing, we recommend scheduling your payment to be made at least 5 business days prior to the actual due date. Be certain to verify the property tax account number submitted with your payment, as it can change between billing cycles.
If making a prepayment, please have your bank indicate prepayment on the remittance.
