Harris Lake County Park offers monthlong events in recognition of a nature, history or recreational topic. These events usually occur in the spring and fall. Learn more about the special events below.

Longleaf Celebration

Beginning in 2025, our Longleaf Celebration will be happening throughout the month of September!

During this monthlong celebration of the iconic Longleaf Pine and the ecosystem it supports, we will be offering in-person programs and a special event, the Longleaf Ramble. A full schedule of programming is available here.
