Camps are extended programs offered by park staff during the spring, summer and fall. You can learn more about registering for our camps and our offerings below.

Registration

Registration opens for Beech Bluff County Park camps at 10 a.m. on the following dates:

  • February 1 for camps occurring May–August
  • June 1 for camps occurring September–December
  • October 1 for camps occurring January–April
     

All campers must register online. Additional forms will be sent to parents as part of the registration process. All camp forms must be returned prior to the first day of camp. Campers must meet the age restrictions.

Refund Policy

You must cancel in writing by emailing beechbluff@wake.gov at least two weeks in advance of a multi-session program or camp in order to receive a refund/credit/transfer.

Camp Offerings

Wilderness Warriors: Oct. 6–10

Sharpen your survival skills at Beech Bluff County Park! Throughout the week we will learn what it takes to survive in the wild, from building a variety of shelters and navigating through nature to preparing safe food and water. We will explore the unique environments Beech Bluff has to offer and pick up valuable tips along the ways, such as growing and storing food in the Agricultural Fields and how to scout out the perfect campsite in the acres of woods. Drop off begins at 8:30 and all campers must be picked up by 5:30pm. Campers bring own lunch and snacks.
