In honor of National Preparedness Month in September, С»ÆÑ¼ÊÓÆµ County Emergency Management is hosting two events to help your family stay ready in the event of a severe weather event or other emergency.
Kit Building Events: Saturday, Sept. 13 | 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
In partnership with Wal-Mart
С»ÆÑ¼ÊÓÆµ County Community Emergency Response Team volunteers will be at several Wal-Mart store locations throughout the county with helpful information and checklists to help you shop for everything you need in an emergency kit.
CERT volunteers will be ready to answer your questions at:

- Town of Holly Springs:
- Town of Morrisville:
Kit Giveaway Events: Saturday, Sept. 27 | 9 a.m.
In partnership with С»ÆÑ¼ÊÓÆµ County Public Libraries
A limited number of free emergency kits will be available to the community at several С»ÆÑ¼ÊÓÆµ County Public Library locations. The kits will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis from the following locations.
